The Clay County Fair, held in Spencer, IA

The fairgrounds offer a wide variety of excellent facilities available for use throughout most of the year. Our facilities include an outdoor arena, a large indoor arena, a large covered livestock building, and large grassy lawn areas for outdoor gatherings. We have and indoor Auditorium with ± 150 seats, a stage, dressing rooms, restrooms, and kitchen area. We have approximately fifteen acres of camping area and can accommodate 800+ RVs. Electrical Hook-ups are available with access to water and clean restrooms with HOT showers. We also offer rental spaces for RVs, Boats, Cars, and other vehicles. Whatever your needs, the fairgrounds is the place for hosting great events! We take great pride in our facility and look forward to working with you on your event.

4 –H AUDITORIUM
60’ x 60’ AUDITORIUM

Can seat about 150 people. It can also be set up as a meeting facility with tables and chairs. It has kitchen facilities, dressing rooms and restrooms. The facility is air conditioned and heated for your comfort.

AUTHENTIC LOG CABIN

Perfect for small gatherings. Beautiful log cabin has stone fireplace. Cabin overlooks water pond and has natural grasses of Iowa surroundings.

Rates: $100

INDUSTRIAL BUILDING
INTERIOR 36” x 180”

Ideal for youth groups, agriculture related activities and swap meets, the Industrial building can be suitable for outdoor activities using the building for lunch or indoor use if rain occurs, or plan your event inside the building. Restrooms are available in the summer months for an additional charge.

THE HORSEBARNS AND OUTDOOR ARENA

With over 150 horse stalls, bring on the horse show. Our beautiful outdoor arena is 123' x 375' and offers ample seating for spectators. The announcers stand is complete with an available sound system.

$10.00 per stall if user cleans stall

THE STABLES

The former Stubs Ranch stable has been completely refurbished and is the perfect setting for wedding receptions or graduation parties. The balcony area has sleighs and buggies from the former Stubs Ranch. The building may be heated for winter rentals.

PAVILION

Great area for outdoor entertaining. Furnished with 12 picnic tables it can seat about 100 people. Building has serving counter and enclosed prep area. Great for family reunions, class reunions or just a picnic.

Rates $50.00 per day
