Clay County Fair’s “Name The Milking Cow” Contest Winner Announced!

Spencer, Iowa – The 2011 edition of the Clay County Fair attracted nearly 328,000 visitors with fun and unique fair attractions!  One such attraction was Grandpa’s Barn, home of the new MaxYield Cooperative Milking cow that gave fairgoers an opportunity to try their hand at milking a cow!

Visitors to Grandpa’s Barn were also asked to help choose the name of the milking cow for a chance to win $50.00 from MaxYield Cooperative.  Thousands of name suggestions were submitted along with the winning submission from Jennifer Rubendall of Lawton, Iowa.  The Max Yield Cooperative Milking Cow will be known as “Mable The Milker” from this day forward.
