‘Fantastic Friday Preview’ Offers Sneak Peak of Fair’s Food and New Carnival

Spencer, Iowa – Enjoy the 2011 Clay County Fair before it officially opens with the Fantastic Friday Preview on Friday, September 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The Clay County Fair Midway will be the highlight of Fantastic Friday Preview with rides operating all evening. The New Gold Star Amusements Carnival will feature rides such as the Super Shot, Ring of Fire, Pharaoh’s Fury along with the fair favorite the Crazy Mouse Roller Coaster. In addition, a VIP Carnival Wristband can be purchased for all nine days of the fair, plus the Fantastic Friday Preview. The VIP Wristband will be good for the rides on the Gold Star Amusement Midway including the Crazy Mouse.

Additionally, you will be able to purchase tickets on Friday evening to ride on the Giant Slide, Ejection Seat and the Sky Glider. The Iowa Lottery will be on hand giving away prizes and selling scratch-off tickets and food stands near the Midway and Clay County Regional Events Center will be open for business..

Admission for the Fantastic Friday Preview will be free and entrance will be at the north gate.
