IMCA Races presented by Arnold Motor Supply to hit Fair Speedway this Thursday evening

Spencer, Iowa – IMCA Racing presented by Arnold Motor Supply, will take to the track at the Clay County Fair Speedway Thursday, August 19. Action kicks off with hot laps beginning at 6:30 p.m. and racing to follow.

Featured classes include IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Sportmods and Hobby Stocks. The cost for tickets will be $15 for individuals 16 and over, $5 for 15 and under and $35 for a family pass.

Race producer Joe Ringsdorf says, “Drivers have been really impressed with the 3/8 mile track at the Clay County Fair Speedway, so we expect to see a good car count in each of the features.” Ringsdorf estimates that drives from throughout Iowa and Minnesota will appear to race on Thursday night.

Additionally, Arnold Motor Supply will be providing free mosquito swatters for the first 200 fans through the gates. Kids can take to the track for a candy toss from their favorite drives prior to the races.

The International Motor Contest Association (IMCA), serves as the largest and longest running sanctioning body in auto racing. The association runs by standard rules that apply across the boards for all the IMCA races. IMCA works to make the races affordable and fair for drivers throughout the country.
