The foundation upon which the Clay County Fair was built was a strong 4-H and FFA program. Our traditions and values have been established working with and through these programs and our future is in the hands of our youth and leaders trained through
4-H and FFA.

An Open Class Livestock Show at the fair allows those persons seeking to continue or expand on their experiences in 4-H and FFA in their adult years.

In addition, the Fields & Gardens departments that showcase the efforts brought forth from the soil continued to grow.

The Clay County Fair features the greatest and most complete display of farm equipment and ag products in the nation. Tractors, combines, seed, livestock supplies, tools, accessories and many other agribusiness products make the fair a one stop shopping mall for agriculture.

Historically the fair has featured Arena Shows to afford the agricultural exhibitors an opportunity to demonstrate their equipment. In addition, the fair has featured events to give the exhibitors an opportunity to showcase their products.
