At the Clay County Fair, you are sure to see some of the best livestock anywhere in the nation. Shows are held for beef cattle, dairy cattle, llamas, rabbits, sheep, and swine; plus a daily horse show. It's truly hard to find a time when you can't see livestock on parade at the Fair.

Last year, the Open Class Livestock Show featured record or near-record turn out in almost all areas. Even the swine show, which many feared might not happen, had a strong group of exhibitors. Extra pens had to be set up for sheep and for the first time ever, an extra tent had to be put up for cattle.
