The competitive exhibit program at the Clay County Fair features exhibits in the agriculture department, canned goods and oven products department, floriculture, and the winemaking department. Here's just some highlights of the areas that involve agricultural products!

From our fields and gardens displays of corn, seed sheaves, potatoes, vegetables and root crops, fruit, pumpkins and even scarecrow contests.

The best from our kitchens features sauces, pickles, vegetables, juices, jams, jellies and more, judged and displayed in the canned goods department. Plus bread, cakes, cookies, candies and pies in the oven products department.

Floral specialities include gladioli, roses, arboreal, annuals and perennials, plus design divisions, artistic arrangements, exhibition tables, wreaths and dahlias.

In addition, many interesting wines have been making their way to the fair.
